Modern Day Sid and Nancy in Rihanna's "We Found Love" Music Video

Ah, this video just reminds me of Sid and Nancy (screen shots below). If anyone hasn't seen the movie, you definitely should.

Also, anyone find it a bit odd/funny that the guy has bleached blonde hair like Chris Brown does? HAAAAA, awkward? Comment on their relationship? I think so.

Anyways this video is hot, Rihanna is hot, the dude in it is hot, and it is very visually pleasing with fireworks, sparklers, projections on the wall over Rihanna, etc... I'm a fan.

On to Sid and Nancy Screen Shots! Why? ... Why not?!

(btw these are screen shots I did myself, so don't steal please)

Can you say SEXY (x1000)?

Tyler Shields, you my friend have created a masterpiece of sexiness! This video, which seems to be a compilations of different video shoots including many extremely attractive celebrities and models, really caught my attention. It might be partially due to the fact that "All I Need" by Radiohead is quite possibly my favorite song in existence (I know, this is a strong claim to make, but I know what I am saying... I mean come on, its Radiohead). But in reality the rawness of the image really what has me interested, I'm not quite sure how to describe the quality of the image other than the word "raw". The image is crisp for the most part, but it doesn't quite have that professional feel to it and in this case I think it completely works, it makes the viewer feel as if they are right there in the same space as the subjects. Kudos Mr. Shields for giving me something worth writing about (since I haven't updated in a while).

After watching this video I was extremely intrigued in what other work Shields has done. So I read his wiki page and checked out his website. Here are some of my favorite photos of his I found, which are all rather sexy, of course:

This man is also a bit crazy and decided to stay awake for 40 days, 968 consecutive hours, in November of 2010. Sadly "Guinness World Records officials say they won't recognize his stunt because it's so difficult to prove and so dangerous to try, Shields believes he more than doubled existing sleep-related records." (AOL News) He also said "Would I advise anyone to do it? No, I wouldn't. Would I do it again? No, I won't break my own record. But I think it's pretty awesome."

This guy is way too cool, end of story.
Check out his website and portfolio: TylerShields.com
Every photo oozes sex, its brilliant.

Bizness

So my fabulous friend Michelle sent me this music video tonight. It's Tune-Yards' song "Bizness". Once again I found myself wishing I was as bad ass as a kid (the previous instance was with Willow Smith). Anyways, I think I found my tribe and/or cult if I were to have one (and if the people in this video actually were apart of a tribe/cult). I constantly wonder what I'm going to do with my life after college, and this is it. I'm going to wear face paint and make weird faces. I already love doing these two things so why didn't I realize this sooner. Oh and I also love dancing weird and staccato-like, OH AND FREEZING TIME...

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the video as much as I did.

... On a completely separate side-note (that might be overly redundant) ha! ... I had a machete named after me tonight. THANK YOU STEPHEN CODEKAS FOR MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE.

What did I get myself into?

Indulging in some FRANCO

I can't help myself, I have a bit of an obsessive personality but usually I get obsessed with bands... now its the Francos. I always knew I liked James Franco, ever since the Freaks and Geaks days. Now he may be a bit too productive for my taste but whatever. The more I read about him the more I like him... then one fine day I found out that HE IS A CAT PERSON. I swear I have some sort of gay-dar except its for cat people. I'm not going to lie, once I find out if someone likes cats they instantly get a gold star in my book. I can't help it. Don't judge me... actually go ahead cause I've probably judged you based on your opinion of cats. Anyways, I found out James Franco was a cat person when I watched Acting with James Franco, for you ignorant non-Francophiles (heh heh) here is the illuminating video:

This video not only introduced me to James Franco's love of cats, it also introduced me to the yummy Dave Franco, AND YES I REALIZED HE PLAYED GREG (THE SOCCER PLAYER WHO PEED HIMSELF WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER) FROM SUPERBAD. This lead me to finding out that Dave Franco, the less productive brother in comparison, also has a cat problem. check it:

Seriously, I need to be part of this family. Or at least, I think we would all get along pretty well. Now that I have explained the background info I can get to what I actually wanted to post. CHECK WHAT JAMES FRANCO POSTED ON HIS TWITTER TODAY ENTITLED "CAT NAP":
cat nap

I am jealous, I wish I had some kitties to nap with (with me up in Santa Barbara, I have cats back at home in San Clemente)... But seriously, this is how I know James Franco is a good person... Also his twitter profile picture is:

WHAT A MAN.

AAAAAAAAND since I'm being a tad bit indulgent, Ima gonna post this new "supervideo" (music video) featuring Dave Franco. Warning: It's cute, It's sad, and the song is mighty catchy. ENJOY. :D

Now I leave you with glamour shots of my cats back at home
